When I’m not maxin and relaxin or working on the bus (Yes, I prefer bus over motorhome/RV/trailer etc.. makes me feel more like a rockstar!) I’m either writing/recording/playing music or doing production work. The later currently pays the bills.. for now at least.
I have a bachelors of arts in audio production from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. I consider myself to be quite eclectic in most areas in life, whether it’s music, hobbies or what you normal people call “work” I try to find the best in every moment!
In my previous life, I had a highly rewarding but highly stressful corporate job (Product Management). After several years in that world, I was ready for a change of pace. I love every facet of travel, from planning in eager anticipation, to rolling with the unexpected twists and turns, to sharing fond travel memories with friends.
I’m looking forward to focusing on my health and well-being for a while and redefining what “success” looks like in my life, to be more well-rounded person in general.
I am a stunning bi-color German Shepherd. Mom and Dad rescued me at 5-months-old. I hadn’t seen much of the world by then. So sometimes I’m shy, but I’m starting to come out of my shell. I love dog parks and swimming and chasing the ball and green beans and jumping. I especially love the CAT!
I am an 11-year-old tortoise shell calico. Mom rescued me from a garage before Dad came around. I don’t mind the RV lifestyle. It took a while to get used to the transformer house, but there are so many great windows for bird watching! I’m not a big fan of the dog-monster, though. Maybe they will accidentally leave her behind the next time the house moves…
Phae is our beautiful new home, a 2010 Tiffin Phaeton 40qth. We love her homey interior, which makes for an easier transition from sedentary life. She boasts a 360hp Cummins diesel engine, 10,000w Onan generator, 90 gal. fresh water, 4 slides, and plenty of storage for two RV newbies such as ourselves. She’s not without her quirks, but so far she has been gentle with these first-timers.
Meep is a utility vehicle in every sense of the word, and so much fun to drive! She is a ’98 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a black soft-top and a 2” lift. We chose Meep as a compromise between the fun of a convertible and the convenience of a backseat. Most importantly, we can tow her 4-down (all four wheels on the ground, no dolly). Every time the top comes down, Kirby feels like the quintessential California beach babe. Too bad it didn’t come with the beach babe body option. 😉
